Overview

Responsibilities

• Live virtual scribing (You will work closely with doctors and assist them in their day-to-day clinic admin tasks)
• Update patient charts ( You will be responsible in charting the patient encounter using the SOAP method)
• Appointment setting (Doctors may ask you to handle their appointment system or do follow ups and schedule confirmation)
• Inbound and/or outbound calls for the clinic (Your task may or may not include making/receiving calls for the clinic/doctor)
• Handle medical insurance inquiries and tasks (You may be asked to answer insurance inquiries and preauth)
• Answer patient inquiries about the clinic/doctor’s schedule and services (You may be asked to handle general inquiries with regards to doctor’s schedule and availability)
• Other administrative tasks including, but not limited to: fax, file management, prescription, etc.

Requirements

• Updated resume
• Diploma (or at least a certification) of any allied health profession. A 2-year experience in medical transcription is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Must be a Philippine citizen and residing in the Philippines (no dual-citizenship)
• Valid ID (UMID, driver’s license, passport, or professional license)
• Ability to speak and write well in the English Language. Knowledgeable in medical terminologies and practices.
• Have reliable computer hardware and software (Please send a screenshot of your computer specs)

Internet speed of at least 10 mbps (Please go to https://www.speedtest.net/ then run the test. Click on “share” and copy the “website” link.) 

• Have decent webcam and headset
• Quiet environment with decent background
• Must be able to work full-time on night shifts and/or weekends
